We bought this to go with the Engenius USB Wireless adapter and use it in our RV when we travel to pick up WiFi. Together they work very well and we get very good range, picking up open wireless networks up to a mile or more.

I coupled this product with a tripod, low loss link, and a WRT-54G running 3rd party open source firmware. I can pick up network signals very far away!!! Currently using it to establish a long distance WIFI link.
