Extend the range of your current Airlink101 or other wireless network with new 150N Wireless USB Adapter. Wireless N USB Adapter is great for environments with the need for higher wireless data traffic. This USB adapter is fully backward compatible with 802.11b/g and RoHS compliant

i bought this little n series sukka at Fry’s electronics just because it was the cheapest t’ing around ($20 as opposed to $40 for the Lynksys G adapter). Wow !!! but i’m amazed at how sensitive and fast this little usb wifi adapter is. It’s considerably better than the more expensive Lynksys g adapters. True, it may just be the difference between an “n” and a “g” but i’m impressed.

I bought this because I read that it works well with Linux. It worked exactly as expected although you do need enough tech savvy to download, compile, and install a driver (the open-source RT2870 driver from the Ralink website is the right one). It connected to my Linksys 802.11n router at full speed and very stable. Considering that other manufacturers charge 2-3 times as much for the same thing, and don’t have good Linux support, this is a steal.

The device is performing as expected so far. I would say it is well worth the price. I have paid a lot more in the past for similar devices from linksys and have had numerous issues with them. This performs excellent and is cheaper than those. Great value for money.

I just started with the latest downloaded drivers(didnt bother with the CD that it came with)
On XP, install the drivers, reboot, plug it in, and enjoy wireless broadband!
Now I did setup my encrypted connection on my router first(so it was ready and I had the key).
Just had to input the required info for my network.
this was my first time dealing with wifi and it worked great first try using the supplied setup software.
Would definitely buy again!
EDIT:
After more use I realized that the range aint that great, ok within a room or 2 away but after 20+feet the signal really drops off. Like I said before, great at short range.

I recommended the AirLink AWLL6070 to my sister to replace her notebook’s blownout internal wireless card. She reports that it works great with Windows 7 Beta 1. No installation hassels at all. Great product.

This is my second wireless USB adapter. I lost my first one when we did a house remodeling. What a deal this was. It usually varies in price every time I see it in Amazon. Got it for 15$ plus 5$ shipping. I have never seen any wireless N at this price range.
I have another PC which is not equipped with a built-in wireless card. The installation is a cinch. I just followed the short instruction:
a) Plug it in a USB port
b) Load the CD
c) Select the driver for your OS (I have Windows XP)
d) Re-start.
Loading the driver took just about a minute. After I re-started the PC, I choose my wireless signal from the list and punch in my password key.
Just like that and I am connected to a steady 72 Mbps wifi. It is not the 150 Mbps shown on the box, but I don’t expect to get what’s on the print anyway.
The adapter is a bit bulkier than a regular flash drive. It may not fit side by side with another USB device if one is already plugged in at the back of your PC. And they probably thought it out very well that they have provided a short USB extension within the box when that problem occurs. It is also backward compatible with b and g.
Very happy with the product, the ease of installation and the price.

This Airlink Wireless N adapter works beautifully, especially considering how cheap it is. I was a little nervous paying so little, but didn’t want to drop 35-50 like a lot of the other N adapters cost. I have a 100+ yr old house with plaster/lath walls. This wireless N is giving me great reception connecting with my Linksys N router 1 floor up and through 3 of those thick walls. I’ve done speed tests on the download speed and found near no difference from my pc directly connected and the airlink adapter. Which seems crazy to me, but true. I was expecting at least a 1 mbps difference (considering with my earlier G adapter I was getting a 3-4mbps difference). BONUS **** this usb adapter is girthy, so at first I was disappointed thinking it would take up 2 ports. But later when I was about to recycle the box I found that is came with a stiff/flexible 2 1/2″ – 3″ USB EXTENSION CORD (male/female) that not only TOOK CARE OF THE GIRTH PROBLEM but also made it so it stuck up in the air like an antennae! **** Right then it went from an B+ to an A+. Worth the price, no question.

This adapter is just perfect. under vista just let vista install it and tell vista where the driver is and your done. I knew it would be good when i noticed its the same ralink chipset thats in my msi wind. sure you only get 150mbs upstream but the downlink is 300. it holds its connection all day. so no complaints here

I am so glad to have this. When I needed a wireless connector for my computer, I got this. It was easy to set up and worked as soon as I got to where I was going. Found the networks right away.
