The product works great and was fairly easy to install. At first I was a little upset that the manual did not include any instructions for the Mac. Luckily, there were Mac drivers included on the install CD. I simply clicked on the file for the OSX Tiger, and my Mac did the rest. As soon as I plugged the dongle in, I received a strong signal immediately (my router is about 75 to 100 feet away on the first floor of my house, while my Mac is on the second floor). It has been working for about three weeks now without any problems. This was a replacement for another product that died after about a year. Note: I believe the other product may have overheated and burnt out because it was resting on top of a very warm flat screen monitor. I will avoid that in the future and recommend others do the same.

I bought this to make my iBook G3 wireless instead of buying an expensive airport card. It works great.

Plugged it in to the USB slot and waited a few seconds. NetworkManager picked it up and connected to my access point. No fiddling required.

I got this for a mac that had a broken airport card and didn’t want to spend a lot since the laptop was old. The software worked on mac, the product is great even the the swivel usb adaptor is really cool it lets you move the dongle out of the way. It connects easily. Upload and download speeds are very good I think faster then the original airport card was. Shipping was fast and free I love it.

I recently went wireless on my Mac. A friend of mine purchased this product in lieu of the Apple one. It’s been great. Absolutely no problems. It was easy to install and works perfectly. The price was about half of what Apple would have charged. It’s not always easy finding compatible products so this was a real find as far as I’m concerned.

So easy to use, just load the software for macintosh, adjust the settings,
then plug it in. And off you go into wireless land.
Great product and a great alternative to apple airport card.

I recently bought this for my brother’s iBook (the Airport card had never worked on his computer). He is so happy that he now has wireless access. He told me that it was extremely easy to set up and use, and he loves it! I can’t believe this is such an awesome product for such a good price. If anything, it’s ability to pick up wireless is better than my own Airport card on my computer. I highly recommend this to Mac users who are looking for easy and reliable wireless access.

If you have a older ibook doesn’t have airport card or doesn’t works, then this is the next step! It does works great on the older ibook g3.

I purchased a used Powermac G4 Tower. I didn’t know until after the purchase just how small a pool there is for components for a Mac. I needed to get online with this Mac to update the systems hardware and software. Looking for components I found Airport this… proprietary that… and I was getting frustrated. Finally I took a chance on this Asus USB wireless dongle. It worked like a charm! I also used it on a few of my older Compaq Armada laptops that I use for my business. It was the best way to get on the net with these older comps and even easier than a direct ethernet connection to my wireless modem. I’m running all over the house with this thing to use it on different computers but it’s worth it. I think I’ll buy another. It is a thing that actually works and that says a lot.

Powerful and reliable – I’ve used this unit for about a year; I recently replaced it because my first one got soaked one too many times and gave it up after enduring much abuse it wasn’t designed for.
The software on my Mac is not as functional as it appears it would be on a PC but not so much to compromise a great adapter.
