I went to the local Fred Meyers so the choices were limited, but this one, by the ad on the box, seemed to be a good combo of value and performance. There’s a simple 4 step hook up sheet and of course this did not make it work in the wireless mode…so…I called the dreaded nation wide Tech Support #….well of course that nation is India but the wait was very short and the Indian gentleman who answered was both polite and fairly easy to understand…but let me tell u, he wait through a kazillion step install process that I could NEVER repeat, with various screens and numbers and names…but WOW…it worked as soon as he was done and it is super fast in the wireless mode…my wife is on the other end of the house and upstairs from where the router is stationed and she was blown away of how fast it is compared to the old one.

I am not a super tech guy at all. I bought this router and held my breath. I was unsure if this would work. I figured there would be some glitch- my luck. Anyway, the simple 4 step quick install worked for the wired PC. Next I tried the laptop. The laptop detected the new network. I clicked and was off to the races. I am typing this on the laptop in the bedroom on the other side of our house. Speed and connectivity are great. If this changes, I will provide an update. Glad I got it and am finally wireless at home.

I’m no great techie, just a home computer user who can do simple setups and configuarations etc. I got this set up without a hitch, it’s working nicely, and the price on it was great. It stands on the desk, so it even saves you space!

All you have to do is connect it to your computer with ethernet core, then run the CD. step by step.
I have it for a month, haven’t seen any problems other people faced.

I got this router for my home. It’s working perfectly fine, good signal (but the router doesn’t have a long range, more than 10 mts starts losing signal quality)
I have it connected 24/7 and it never drops the connection.
Also, it has good security options to protect your network from intruders and the best part, it’s cheap!

I spent 2 days trying to install a highly rated, $75 Linksys router and could not get it going even with continuous help from a very tech savvy friend. Picked this one up for $45, set it up in 10 minutes and it connected to 3 computers, Tivo, a Blackberry Curve and my new Samsung Blueray player. All are working flawlessly here 24 hours after installation. The new Samsung player streams Netflix, Pandora and Youtube. I have it set up via one of the 4 hardwired ports (not WiFi) and all are working great. Kids browsing the net while a movie is streaming works so well it seems like magic. I see all the other reviews where people have had problems but if your are willing to try it out you might be pleasantly surprised like I was. Oh, and the connection speed over wifi seems to have increased compared to my old Netgear WGR614 which this replaced!

i live in barbados and i bought this item from pricesmart, it cost me $120 bbd which is $60us , at set up i had no problems going through the cd but i had problems finding the network, after about 5 tries i applied my password and it worked………i have smooth sailing now. only thing i hate is that fact that the security network key has to be one that they generated not one you create be sure to write it down…………..otherwise its just great!!!

You can’t go wrong once you pick up the box. I use these devices because time and time again they run circles around their counter parts. I picked up this little bad boy to setup in a small apartment and I have only good things to say.
