Great Router, Once you know how to set it up. I called Linksys on this and they NEVER told me this.

Hope this helps someone, PRESS the button on the top of the Router WHILE you Plug it in until all the lights are on.

That is the ONLY way I could get it to connect and talk to My Comcast Cable Router and pull an I.P. Address.

After the set up I wasam amazed at how fast it is, 3 wireless pc’s and a wifi Printer wo issues.

The Router was not difficult to install but I called in and had the Service Tech walk me through it. I have a Mac computer and you do not do it the same as the regular PC. I love having the router now so i can hook up several things to the internet. It works great and other than installation it is very simple and easy to use.

This Linksys WRT120N works great.

This is the only router I have had that can send a signal throughout my apartment. Does’nt matter what room or device,the Playstation 3, my laptop and my BD390 Blu Ray player, all have no issues with wireless connectivity using this router.

A co-worker recommened this, and he said his signal transmits a full block away from his house!

I got mine for $39.00, so im very satisfied with my purchase!

This is my first router so it took me awhile to get it going. Once I learned to use “add devices” everything went well. About once a week I lose connectivity but not sure if its my digital modem or the router. Great power. Fast shipping . Streamline design is cool

Many reviewers have had issues with the router. However, the instalation was easy and the router has worked perfect for a week now. I did have an installation issue, but the Cisco/Lynksys helpline solved the issue quickly. Speed and access are not issue as I have always had a connection and the speed has been very decent. So I am surprised at some of the poor reviews. I suspect that Cisco may have a consistancy issue in the production of these routers.

good router. even though it says only for email and stuff i can get blazing fast speeds. this thing doesn’t hinder your internet at all.

I don’t know why this router has received such bad reviews; in my experience it was consistently reliable, not interfering with any of the electrical devices beside it (tv, phone) and rarely having to be reset. It had enough bandwith to wirelessly operate two laptops streaming netflix movies and always provided a full-strength signal throughout the apartment. All in all, it was a solid purchase on my part.

It’s easy to hook up and even if you don’t understand or can’t get your laptops to connect.. Linksys customer support is very willing to walk you through it. (Unless you would rather pay them money to set it up by remote)..

Purchased a LINKSYS WRT120N router after the six-month-old Belkin died (and am I glad that it did). The LINKSYS installation was an absolute dream…load up the CD-ROM and just follow the prompts from screen to screen. Main system was up and running in fifteen minutes, no glitches; and the laptops were up and running in about a minute. The Belkin was supposed to deliver N-speed, but I now understand it’s really a G. Response time on mainframe and laptops with the LINKSYS are almost explosive and I’m not only impressed, but delighted as well. Since it’s a new system, reliability can’t be five-star, but will update if anything negative happens in that regard. After the failure of my old router I purchased the WRT120N before reading some of the reviews and I’m thankful for that. The WRT120N was so easy to set up it must have taken me all of 5 minutes. The set-up wizard was very clear and easy to follow. I’ve been using it now for over a month an have NO problems whatsoever.
