  I got this router after trying several pre-N and wireless G MIMO routers for my home. All of them had some problem or the other, including interference from cordless phones, but not this one!

  Straight out of the box, it worked like a charm and still going….fingers crossed!

  I bought this product to replace an existing router which did not support IPsec passthrough. The D-Link setup process was very straight forward using the setup wizard. Initally I was unable to get it to connect to the internet. The problem turned out to be with my modem which was tracking the MAC address of my old router and would not return the needed DHCP IP address to the new D-Link router. I wrote down the MAC address of my old router and then used the D-Link configuration utility to change its MAC address to the same address as my old router. After that everything worked great. I needed to add several port forwarding rules which was very straight forward. One other reviewer mentioned that only 1 port range could be forwarded to an IP address, but this turns out to be incorrect. Only 1 port range can be forwarded per rule, but you can add as many rules as you want on the same IP address. I am very happy with my purchase.

  This was the best and easiest router to install. I tried with another for a week and couldn’t get it to work. I would strongly recommend!

  Unit works as plug and play, range works very well. I did not like the software “magic” included, and would not recommend this at all. Go withthe standard format from D-Link (Included) and it is a lot more straightforward. Unit replaced an ailing older D link(8 yrs old) and that is why I chose this brand – it is reliable.

  I had purchased this router then read some unfavorable reviews.
  
  I had good luck with D-link in the past. Well I just hooked it
  
  up and it’s working great! I was able to set up a security key
  
  to keep others from using my wireless Internet.

  I had a problem with my D-link router I had ordered from
  
  Amazon. It was defective. However Amazon shipped off a
  
  replacement by one-day air before I had even taken the
  
  bad one to the post office. Also they provided free shipping
  
  for the bad router. It was simple to print out the free
  
  shipping return label.

  Once I had them both the modem and router hooked up they both

  I inserted cd, followed instructins, connected the wires and it has been working ever since, one PC, two apple computers and and X-box!

  I purchased this router to create a wireless network in my home. It worked well right out of the box and it was easy to follow the router’s software instructions to begin encryption. Range is excellent,although I also purchased a range extender because my house is too damn big (over 70ft. long). I had no touble updating the router’s firmware after download. I am using this router with two Macs and I figure I saved a bundle by buying this router instead of Apple’s. I only discovered after purchase that the end of life notice has already been published for this router and support will run out in under two years. Bummer.

  I replaced my 80211B Netgear router with this Dlink 80211G and it is working Great. At first my signal was dropping after about 15 minutes of use. I turned off the super G setting and selected a single channel not Auto which did the trick. I have had no issues since. AJD

  this product works great and the price is right – great coverage, easy setup, no problems whatsoever

  I’ve had wireless routers from several manufacturers and for all its worth, both of my D-Links have been the most reliable and easy to use
