I’m pleasantly surprised that the DWL-G132 works perfectly. No driver or firmware updates are necessary. Just load the software, plug it in, and it provides a high speed connection without any resets, timeouts, or other glitches. This is on machines running Windows XP with SP2 and talking to a D-Link DI-624 access point with firmware version 2.50.

I was looking for a way to connect my old desktop to the internet in my kids room which has no outlets for DSL or Cable, and this is a perfect product. It works great with my wireless router (which is Netgear, not D-Link) that sits one floor down and several rooms away. It was easy and quick to install and no update to firmware was required. Amazon.com has a great price too.

My son broke his wireless antena, I looked at all my favorite places to buy a new one but could not find one. So I googled the part I was lookng for and found it here. I am happy to say it works very well my son is happy again. A big thanks!!!!

would like to start off by saying I FREEKIN LOVE AMAZON!!!! it does not matter what it is, if you are a chep SOB like myself i can almost bet you it is on here cheaper than anywhere else that I know of. I give this adapter a perfect score, does exactly what it is supposed to, with minimal installation effort. The only problem I had was that I am running windows 7, and the included driver disk is not compatible. But with the greatest of ease I was able to locate a suitable driver and get it up and running in no time flat. THANKS AGAIN AMAZON YOU FREEKIN ROCK!

I am using it for the last 3 months. And have no problem with it. I didnot connect the USB directly to the computer. I used the cradle and have no problems with it so far. Worth the money spent.

I have bveen using DWL-G132 Xtreme for a week now and it seems to be very solid indeed (and this is something I could not say about other D-Link products I used in the past). It works with my DI-624 just fine, the setup was quick and the data transfers are fast. I also haven’t noticed any signal drops, even several other access points in the area. DWL-G132 aquires connection instantly after logging in to my Windows and maintains the strong connection throughout the session.

I think this is one of the strongest wireless products I worked with so far.
